Brady "XLLL" Hoke (Head Coach San Diego State)

I think, as a coach, you sometimes do have to defer to the player.. I mean, players wave off substitutions all the time... and.. to the extent that this buffoon had no idea Suga had just been leveled, ok... But, when the guy gets to the bench someone has got to check him out. Period. Michigan did not. If he was being checked on by medical personnel, he would have had his helmet on and would have been in the middle of the test.
So not only Hoke is an incompetent danger to his players, so is the Michigan medical staff?

Wow, let's all send our kids to play for Michigan!

Michigan AD apologizes, says Shane Morris has a concussion

http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...apologizes-says-shane-morris-has-a-concussion

Brandon confirmed that Morris was diagnosed on Sunday with a “probable, mild concussion” and a high ankle sprain. That contradicted a statement Monday by Michigan coach Brady Hoke, who said his impression was Morris had not been diagnosed with a concussion, and reflects a high level of dysfunction within a major college football program.

...Team neurologist Jeffrey Kutcher, a leading expert in the concussion field, was watching further down the field and also did not see the hit, Brandon said.
“However, the neurologist, with expertise in detecting signs of concussion, saw Shane stumble and determined he needed to head down the sideline to evaluate Shane,” Brandon said. “Shane came off the field after the following play and was reassessed by the head athletic trainer for the ankle injury. Since the athletic trainer had not seen the hit to the chin and was not aware that a neurological evaluation was necessary, he cleared Shane for one additional play.”
