Brady "XLLL" Hoke (Head Coach San Diego State)

There's a lot more to getting it than calling OSU "Ohio." That's pretty damn juvenile.

But what do you expect us to do?

Perhaps Hoke is referring to the Ohio Bobcats. Seems logical to me. He probably realizes it's too big a jump to really consider themselves rivals of Ohio State, so better to cultivate a rivalry with the Bobcats. Then, if he can prove that his little team can beat the Bobcats AND Div 1AA teams, then he might cultivate a rivalry with a bigger boy like tOSU.

So let's get this straight

Brady Hoke:

Born in Ohio, rooted for Michigan because he thought it was "cool" and he could rub people the wrong way.

Goes to school at Ball State, refuses to wear his own school colors because of his bandwagon allegiance to the Wolverines.

Has no actual ties to the university until becoming an assistant coach there.

Yes, Michigan has hired a "Wal-Mart Wolverine"

The more I read about this guy, the more I realize he's more of a clown than I previously thought he was.

I wonder if he has a similarly childish way of referring to Michigan St. I find it funny that he has so much dislike for Ohio St., even though he's far from a "Michigan Man." The dude's from Ohio and never suited up for, or even went to school at, UM.

He is a Michigan Man because he will not wear red!

Rich Rod wore red on the sidelines because he is clearly not a Michigan Man

Just look at what a drastic improvement Hoke is over Rodriguez already!

you made fun of our last coach for not "getting it," now you're making fun of the new coach for having some passion about it...... not only are you guys having your cake, and eating it, but you've bought the bakery and controlling interest in the local flour market, and own stock in local sugar.......you SOB'S:biggrin:

Don't fret....scUM still has all the nuts anybody needs! :tongue2:

Bo was born in Barberton, Oh, coached as an assistant with Woody at Ohio State. Played for Woody at Miami University in Ohio. I am not sure what the real meaning of a Michigan Man is?..... but Hoke would be an Ohio transplant like Bo. Go Bucks
