Tressel had not turn any kids into NFL talent until he got to his current job.

If one uses a bit of commen sense and looks at it from the guy has had two weeks to get recruits. If he was coach from the entire year, I would agree with you.

He has got 6 new commits and 3 to re-commit after MI fired RR.

Six new commits

Actually, if one uses a bit of common (not commen) sense, scUM has sucked the last number of years, sucks now and will suck in the next number of years.

Huh? Tressel was 135?57?2 at YSU with 4 National Titles...

Brady Hoke is 47-50 with 1 bowl win.

JT had a great track record, the only question was could he do it at Ohio State.

Look, I'll be the first to admit I was skeptical when JT was hired, and I admire you enthusiasm, but a statement like this is just silly. There's a lot of questions to be answered with Hoke, the quality of opponents is going to be much tougher, Notre Dame is building, MSU is becoming a quality team and now you have Nebraska coming in. The current team is a friggin joke, actually, it's the punchline to a joke.

Will he be able to recruit? Sure, it's still tsun, they still get good kids that want to go there, they still have a loyal fan base. The big question is, will he be able to coach and plan against teams that really just like beating the crap out of your school. This isn't ball state, and it isn't sdsu. He's had one good season, and only three seasons where he finished with a winning record.

It looks like he's trying to put the right people in the right positions, it looks like he's trying to mend fences with high school coaches and the alumni, and all of that is great, if he can produce on the field.

Wow great post and I agree 100%, but since we are talking about Tressel taking 3 star talent and making them into NFL caliber talent. I have no idea why you posted about his win lost record at a divsion 3 college? No one question his ability to coach football and win. He will end up in top 3 of all time college football coaches.

I don't know about YSU being a Division III school, but that's a Division I run-on sentence there....
