You should be able to do that right now. Hover your cursor over your username in the navbar, click the "Personal Details" link. Custom user title is one of the options you can adjust there.

New place looks nice if a touch too bright by my standards. Will we have multiple themes to choose from in the future or is there just going to be one main one that might be tweaked a bit but the overall color scheme etc will stay consistent?
