BP REBOOT/MIGRATION (Welcome to BP 2.0!)

Not my work, that is how I originally found BP way back. Scout and Rivals message boards have been blocked forever, but I could read all of their articles and recruit databases. Only when I try to go into their message boards does the block kick in.
Still URL-based. Each website is categorized by content which is either determined by the website description or by someone hand-jamming it. A site is not blocked just because it is XenForo or vBulletin or whatever. The message boards that are blocked are blocked because have been marked as chat sites. I can get to ohiostate.scout.com and recruiting.scout.com, but any page with a ".z" extension under those domains is blocked.

I think it is code based because I can be reading a website and half the page is blocked (saying no access) normally it is an embedded video, ad or chat window like on ESPN.
Again, not code-based...the URL from which the code is loaded is what's blocked, not the code itself. Trust me on this, I did DoD web shit for years...

lol, I fear we are indeed losing that. Maybe I'll make an "in remembrance" page with screenshots.

Then again it is a DoD network.

Thanks... will try it Monday when I get back to work

If it is something like "websense" it is bounce of a database that is built using subscibers suggestions. Which is pretty flawed, sometimes I get blocked trying to read a news article catagorized as email...

I've updated the reveal thread in the Football forum with a discussion about the new alerts system -- how you stay quickly connected to the content that matters to you the most.

Tomorrow (hopefully), Sportsbook (what replaces vBookie).

With the new site will this go to my local file or stay on my permanent record? Never is just a suggestion, right?

:(

I plan to completely overhaul the warning system. If it's still there after the move, I'll be happy to remove it for you.
