Boston Red Sox (9x World Series Champions)

Me neither. Baseball is a sport I tune out when my team is done.

Since The Indians didn't make it:pissed: I want to go with the AL winner and since 2004 Boston got rid of the curse. That made me feel good about baseball again, which anytime I see a big market ($$$) team like The Yankees go down, I'm rooting for the team at that time who is the best chance to win it all.

The 2004 ALCS was the only time I can really recall having a significant rooting interest in a playoff series that did not involve the Indians. But that had much more to do with hating the Yankees than feeling sorry for Boston. Afterall, the city of Boston wasn't hurting for titles in other sports besides baseball.

I just got back from the parade. I was able to get really close, so I have some good pics. I will upload them tonight.

Just when I got back to my office, they drove the duck boats right past my office! If I would have known they were coming to Cambridge, I would have had some more great pics!

The Dropkick Murphys presented Papelbon with his own kilt, but he wasn't wearing it on the parade route. He was his usual crazy self!
