Not a great time to stray off course for a player. Close to camp, loaded roster, coaches guarding closely against complacency in pursuit of another NC. I don't see a lot of slack being given by Urbs.

Mods, delete if necessary. I had heard several months back (winter time, IIRC) that Dontre and Corey Smith had failed a drug test. Could have been total BS and unrelated to this.

Could cause some issues against VT if we have any trouble establishing the run. I was already a little concerned with Smith and Spencer gone but it will give some young guys a chance to shine.

I had two separate sets of friends ask me this morning "Had you heard Bosa's name among the names of suspensions." I said I hadn't but I thought it was odd that the same random question was asked by two different people. Someone tell me this is BS.

I think that if Corey Smith is out, that might hurt us more than people think. He's one of only two proven outside guys on the roster.

Agree on Corey Smith. Dontre, with how deep we are at HB, would hurt that much for a single game. Heck, I'm not even sure if he'll be healthy or not anyway week one. But I see Corey Smith being the #2 WR if Jalin is still mainly the H Back. Although with Braxton now there maybe Jalin will truly be the #2 WR more so than HB. Even so, in 4 WR sets there would 100% be a drop off without Corey Smith.
