Agreed. I also think that tOSU lost that game more than VT won it. Self inflicted errors exacerbated by youth played a huge factor-along with their QB looking like an All-American.Last year at the beginning of the season I thought VTech would be our toughest test.
I feel the same way this season. However, the fact we aren't playing Navy the game before makes me a lot less nervous.
This is a really good point - Preparing for Navy last year was a pain in the ass.Last year at the beginning of the season I thought VTech would be our toughest test.

Nope, it was my fault. I travelled back to Columbus with my son to the VT game. Should have known better, the last time I took him to a game was Ped State, 2008.Last year as I left the stadium in Baltimore, I saw a guy with a VT jersey on. I said out loud, but only loud enough for my buddies to hear, "You're next"....all cocky as if we had just dominated Navy.
It was my fault, guys. No need to sweat it this year. I won't be saying anything.
Um.. Michael Thomas should make u feel better.. Johnny Dixon as well.
VTs defense will be completely different this game... they rushed everyone because the line was new, the QB was new...
totally different scenario this year... and if the gang rush, the ball goes immediately to Braxton & Marshall... and the fireworks begin
