Anybody catch this last night on HBO? The pilot was good and the show looks interesting. If you like to read about mobs and are interested in prohibition during the 20s, you should check it out.

My wife and I watched it last night. They introduced a lot of characters, so it's going to take a little while before I give a shit about any of them. I liked it enough to give them 4 or 5 episodes to get the story moving, but it wasn't one of those pilots that just sucked you in from the start. Add in that, starting next week, Dexter is on at the same time as Boardwalk Empire, and we've already got a pretty packed DVR, this show will have to do something within the next few episodes to keep my interest.

Agreed. I will give it another episode or two, but that is about it. Hopefully they don't try to mimic the Sopranos because they won't be able to get close to that series.

I've been excited about the show for a while and liked the pilot.

I'll be DVR'ing the series for sure (still have to watch NFL on Sunday ).

OT- Eastbound and Down next week. Hell. Yes. (Though it looks like it will disappoint compared to the 1st season).
