"You know what? Every area of our facility is all videotaped," Ryan said. "There is absolutely nothing that has come to my attention. All I know is, we won the game. Deal with it."

What's up with the "Deal with it" part? Was that Bo Ryan's reaction to Sully getting spit on? If it wasn't, who was he talking about?

With all due respect to our new Wiscy basketball posters, who have been nice to talk to on here, the return leg in Columbus isn't going to be a close one and they're going to hope they don't get us in the Big Ten Tourny. Karma, revenge, unfinished business... call it what you like.

"All I know is, we won the game. Deal with it."

Reminds me of a certain football coach from Purdon't who got his ass handed back to him in Cbus this past season...Maybe Ryan should consult with Hope and Fitz before making more statements like that. Hopefully we hear reports of Tress and Matta discussing things before the March 6 game, with a gift of a plunger with a W painted on it. :sneaky:

Oh, and now that our student section is behind the opposing bench as well, hopefully they do something similar to what Block-O did with the "Get used to it" chant at the end of the Purdon't game. Always nice to know that they're mindful of stuff like that.

Bingo. You'd think Ryan would be smart enough to realize that this, considering his team needed the performance of a lifetime from multiple players in the second half in order to barely eke out a 4-point win at home. IMO, this clown is a horrible representative for a university that likes to pass itself off as upper tier.

Bo Ryan has always been a fucking douchebag. He gets so much respect, when what the fuck has he done? Overachieving in Madison is not being terrible. No one ever expects great things, they get a few quality home wins every year, thats it. Fuck this ass-clown.

I love that he has Sully looking forward to the next game, I expect close to a 40-15 from him. It should get uuuggglllyyyy.

A 150-11 record at home, 236-87 record overall. Big Ten championships in 2002, 2003, and 2008. Two Sweet Sixteen appearances and an Elite Eight one. While not on the level of Thad, his resume is impressive nonetheless.

i love it also but realistically i would expect around the same game he had last time...if he was a point guard or a shooting guard, scoring 40 points would be easier to achieve...someone has to throw the ball into him...so unless he is going to take the ball up the court then no i wont expect close to a 40-15 line especially against Wisconsin....i would love to see him get a 22-16-9 type of line with a block or 2

Not that impressive, given the rankings and records of the teams he's placed in the NCAA tournament. When it comes to tournament time, Ryan's a career underachiever.

I'm not sure why Ryan's teams have consistently struggled in the NCAA Tournament. Style of play is what most people point to.

I'm feeling the hate and liking it. Sparty and Izzo were too soulless and businesslike to really make a good rival for us in hoops, and the collapse of UM football has left that rivalry on hiatus.

Wiscy has really stepped up to the plate and given us programs in football and basketball to hate...something that should only intensify with the move to divisional football next year.
