I can't see him leaving for another college job. Despite who he coaches for....he seems like he has some integrity. I'd say the only job he leaves for would be in the NFL......which would be hilarious because I don't see any team offering him the head job after just 1 year as a head coach, so he would have to leave for an OC job. They'd lose their shit on BWI if that happened. With some success in a tough situation for him this season, would anybody be surprised if the SEC( ARK, AU KY, or TN) would make a run at him? Charlie Strong can't coach everywhere.
However, sources say teams that have gauged his interest have been informed by a third party representative that when O'Brien accepted the task of being the late Joe Paterno's successor, he was told by school officials that the Jerry Sandusky scandal was a criminal matter, not an NCAA concern. That proved to be bad information as Penn State was dealt a four-year bowl ban and scholarship reductions as part of its penalties.
Nothing says "remorseful" like lying baldfaced to the new coach when you're looking to hire him.Coqui;2283317; said:I apologize if this was already in the Penn State thread but:

Unless his plan in life is to stay at PSU for the next 15 years he's never going to look better to NFL teams then he will right now. He has to jump ship now....
The tears will be delightful...
