Apparently when I quick post, it goes thru, but the page I'm on keeps loading until I hit refresh. If I click submit reply while it's still loading, I guess it submits again. Are there any other things you want me to try?

EDIT: still have to click edit twice to open page. The toolbar in vB3 only has 1 level, don't know if that means anything.

Not for the moment. Deety and I are working on cleaning up some old/bad code in the templates. The end result will mean some tiny errors will be cleaned up, but if you didn't find relief in the stock vB style, then these changes probably aren't going to help you.

The toolbar only has one level because none of our custom template changes are in that style.

Anyway, we'll keep working on this, and eventually, something we do will hopefully fix you and the style resetting problems.

Generaladm - thanks for helping out so much - very appreciated!

I'd just like to check that it really is an upgrade issue and not just a coincidence that the issue started with the upgrade. Would you try the same things at recruitingplanet.com? That hasn't been upgraded yet, so if the issue persists, we'll look at different things.

Sure. It's gonna take a minute, I've never logged on to RP, and it looks like I have to sign up. I'll update soon.

Don't know if this might help, but I noticed something. When I click on the rep button (doesn't work), it gets outlined in yellow dots. When I click on something that opens a new page, or quick post, which flips to a live cursor int the QL box, the outline is red dots.

yeah - if you click on a person's name in a thread and then click the "find all posts by this person", you now always get a wait 20 seconds before beginning a new search message, even if you have not done a prior search.

If you go to their profile and then click on the box for all of their posts, you do not get the 20 second warning, but the search results.

Hrm... I just clicked your name, and clicked the find all posts option and I didn't have any issues.

Is there anything going on with the youtube videos that the site is doing?

If you go to the last page of the Favorite YouTube thread, most if not all of the videos are no longer available....or it could be me...I don't know....

Are you using the NoScript Firefox extension? I clicked a bunch and after several loaded, it stuck loading ytimg.com (though that could also be from trying to play them all at once). Anyway, it seems people have had issues with NoScript blocking ytimg.com, preventing vids from playing. Something to check, at least.

The videos worked for me until I had five or six going at once. :p
