Big Ten Power Rankings

It is extremely difficult to rank Purdue. When Hummel is able to play I would probably rank them #2 over Illinois but when he cannot play I would rank them at the #5 spot. So, this week he doesn't play so they will go to #5 in my rankings.

When they start winning with Hummel back they can move up , Thats easy to change.

I'll bet Fungo will be here next week when the BBall team travels to the Kohl Center......

He usually only shows up during football season, but he's been itching to get out of his cage lately, so I may give him a little time out for good behavior.

We all laughed at DickRod trying to pound a square peg into a round hole this past fall, but how about his basketball counterpart in Morgantown North? scUM has 19 points with about 14 minutes left in the 2nd half vs. MSU right now.

They just showed a graphic that scUM averages 6.4 FT attempts a game this season. :yow1:

Good luck with all of that...

I said in another thread...they make Matta's teams look aggressive on offense.

All they do is shoot 3's.

Just looked up their average. Over 26 a game. :yow2:
It really is bad...and boring as hell to watch. They chuck the ball around the perimeter for 20 some seconds, then toss up a three. They took 46 shots tonight, 24 threes of which they made 4. That kind of offense won't win a National Title, which I'm assuming scUMmers delusional asses want.

Michigan has hired two "mad genius" unconventional coaches now. At least DickRod's style is fun to watch. Not only is Beilein overrated, his teams are as entertaining as drying paint.

Too bad the Ann Arborites are stuck with these two.

I would call them scheme coaches and it seems scheme coaches are always so wrapped up in proving their scheme works they disregard the other parts of the game. They also never seem to consider having a plan B when plan A is stopped or innefective.
