That sucks, but BN27 has Comcast. If his feed originates from NY state, then he might be able to get the Buckeye game.

Ah. Whoops.

I can't wait for news on outside big ten states time warner info. I finally found something that seems definitive, for now, saying that no details have been released and the change probably won't be made before Saturday. Boo.

It's really exciting. You go to Channel 60 and you get this big blue square with white lettering on it that reads, "Big 10 Network Coming Soon." As Mark Twain said, "I want to be in Cincinnati when the world comes to an end. Things happen last there."

so do i. i have a friend who lives in upstate ny and he has to clean his off and keep the area clear. he had it mounted up on his house but the snow/ice messed up the signal so he put it someplace lower so that he could get to it. now he can reach it but a couple of times the snow has buried the thing...
In other words, unless you live somewhere that gets five feet of snow you're going to be fine. I guess all of us here in Ohio and in 99% of the country are safe.

Now mine says "COMING SATURDAY". I guess in Time Warner's universe "tomorrow" is a euphemism for four days of a blue screen.

But hey, at least we have BTN on the program guide, so we can imagine what it would be like if we were watching what is playing at this moment.

It is as if they are going to the greatest lengths possible to string along customers.

thanks for the optimism, but I have TW in Sayre.....which gets it's feed from NY, so no BTN. my fiance has Comcast in Harrisburg, but only the basic cable package so only one BTN channel, which will show a really really really really really really shitty team playing Coastal Carolina.

If it helps, right now you could be watching Michigan/Alabama 2000 Orange Bowl. 2:18 left in the 3rd quarter

Not sure how many it helps here, but the BTN is on a roll.

Charter latest to add Big Ten Network

St. Louis, Missouri and Chicago, Illinois – Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:CHTR) and the Big Ten Network have reached an agreement-in-principle on terms of a multi-year distribution agreement in which Charter will carry the Big Ten Network and related programming throughout the Big Ten territory, including its systems in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Northern Illinois. Big Ten Network and Charter are currently working together in an attempt to ensure that the majority of these same systems can launch the network on its expanded basic level of service in time for Saturday's Big Ten college football openers.
