Big Ten Championship Game

Turns out I can't cancel my hotel so I'm going whether I want to or not!

Im not quite sure what a Nittany Lion is, but we have Badgers in England so go wiscy!:lol:
Enjoy Indy, if you need any advice let me know. Solid spot to watch footy downtown at Chatham Tap that opens early on the weekends.

Also, I had a British roommate in college, so I may even understand you if need help.

Might I suggest some fashion advice for the game.

If any of the pedsters give you shit, tell them that Franco liked to watch.

(Apologies if there's already a thread on this, I can't find it if there is!)

So I've got tickets for next week's game and can't decide whether to sell them on or go along for the ride. Presumably I'm not the only one in this predicament ... what's everyone else deciding to do? Is it still worth a day out?

1. Depends...how much can you get for the tickets? I'm assuming you'd get most from Wisky fans considering PSU buyers spent all their cash on underage boys for the year.

I'd use https://www.stubhub.com/ or even post the tickets on local Craigslist.

2. I'm assuming you were just planning to drive if you live in C-bus. If not, some airlines allow you to apply the $ to another trip (Tampa, for example). :biggrin2:

3. Did you get a hotel? If you booked directly through the hotel they may allow you to cancel if you do it 24-48 hours prior. In this case they won't have a problem re-booking your room.

Sometimes, Expedia and others will offer a "free cancellation." If you did it blind, they probably won't give you anything. This site could solve your problem entirely:

https://www.roomertravel.com/how

It's probably a good reference in any situation.

Hope this helps. My primary function when I worked in DC was booking travel & housing. We were a company so things were a touch different. If anything, I'd ALWAYS join their "rewards program" if it's free. It can sometimes give you an edge. Or, get American Express.

Since OSU's fate doesn't really hang in the balance I'd probably skip it. Especially if you can make $. I think Wisky will probably run over PSU (Hornibrook is expected to play).

See my post above and the site I listed about selling your hotel room. If you have a good hotel, someone will no doubt buy the room. If it weren't for a special event, I'd say you'd need to post a lot earlier.

Doesn't hurt to try. If it doesn't sell just use it.

EDIT: Here's another one:
