Yes. I call it the little red hen syndrome. They didn't till the field or harvest the grain. They didn't grind the flour or fetch wood for the oven. That last sentence sums up the poverty program mentality perfectly. They didn't make the investments a hundred years ago and then spend the next hundred building CFB into what it became. They just want a seat at the table we built and a pot of the gold that we've created. Fuck 'em.

Just noticed that Gordon Gee's nonsense separates us from tcun and puts us into essentially a B1G West +ISU. Sounds like somebody's still butthurt that he was run off for not being able to shut his trap. If the rabble really try to put this through, all that it will accomplish is for the B1G and SEC to say, "fuck you; we out."
Just a hunch, but I smell the foul stench of private equity behind this scheme with self-obsessed opportunists like Gee jumping on board for their own selfish reasons that have zero to do with protecting college football. I'm sure if he was still at Cincy, a certain smirking jock-sniffer would be putting himself out front and fucking center as its proponent. He can't now because even he knows this is a shit sandwich for B1G schools.

I'd be a lot more interested if the Big went back to ten, including Penn State. I'd be even more interested if the Bowl Syndicate was overthrown and the NC game rotated between four locations, New York, Atlanta, LA, and Chicago. Right now, I'm kinda "meh" on the BIG, college football, and the Buckeyes. Must be the weather.

Too soon old, too late smart
Read these threads, and kinda wonder if folks aren't nibbling around the edges of trying to skinny down the # of teams in the B10. My idea for the opportune number of teams goes up and down depending on how I feel at the time, and what OTHER sports am watching on B10 channel. Some of the ones I'd strike out have some of the best 'other' teams, are located in a small tv market, or not an AAU school (part of the elitist in me). Keeping rivalries alive is important (which is why I like the above post by ORD), but making up schedules determined by lowest miles traveled for away games, could potentially make a 9-3 national champ. But at the end of the day, the Benjamins paid by TV are based on viewership (and the $ they can get for commercials), so why not invite them to the table to determine? Dumb, I know, but maybe relevant, as they are the ones paying for all of this. Anyway, some great thoughts for mental masturbation.
