...and that way is to remain independent at $60 million/year with NBC

Good riddance. They got up to $60 with the help of B1G's new contract with NBC, which makes me feel icky. Enough of them leaching off of the B1G. This is the part where B1G and the western newbs should stop scheduling ND going forward

Best scenario. We don't need that cancer, and if the list of conditions that I posted is accurate, they were clearly out to hurt and marginalize Ohio State from the start. That their sublime arrogance let them think the rest of the conference would go along with it speaks volumes.

#GordonGeeWasRight

ND was attempting to pit conference members against each other before they had even been invited into the conference. Those guys would truly be a cancer on whatever conference they joined.

Trying to damage the school that's been writing the checks that the rest of the conference has been cashing for twenty fucking years! That's how mind numbingly arrogant Notre Dame is.

And that’s a strategy that would force ND into a conference. I don’t want them in the big ten. I really don’t want them getting the sec a foothold that far north. ND is a cancer that would try to destroy the big ten just like Texas destroyed the big 12.

Let them wander in the desert for forty god damned years like fucking Moses...and take their hockey program with them. In a conference, they would be a cancer of such gargantuan (love that word and so rarely get to use it in a sentence) magnitude that they'd make Texas look like Wake Forest.
