If the Notre Dame really wants to play that game, tell them to go play with the Big 12 and ACC...we're taking Stanford and Cal anyway just because fuck you and, whoops, now we dont have room on the schedule for you. Now Ohio State and Michigan are playing regular games from California to the Mid-Atlantic, Notre Dame is now confined to the plains and southeast... they've become their worst nightmare, a regional program.

This would make me happy to no end...

Notre Dame to Kevin Warren: "We seek the Holy Grail. Won't you join us in our quest?"
Warren to ND: "No thanks, we already got one."
ND: "But it's not complete. Our Lady of the Lake gave us this shiny sword and told us we were the chosen people. You should join us."
Warren: "Taking trinkets from Watery Tarts such as Dabo is no basis for a sound football program, so fuck off."

Assume you meant Warren here, not Wilson. Though Notre Dame begging to Kevin Wilson is certainly something I'd like to see.

I think a fair number of educators in the PAC 12 are happy to see the two LA schools gone so they can get back to something approaching the dog controlling the tail. Stanford and Cal aren't going to suffer from the loss of alum donations, and they could benefit from not having to pay for the cost overrun from their athletic departments. I imagine that UW is in much the same position. Don't know about Oregon. They don't travel well as the CFP has demonstrated and the program would be in debt if it weren't for Brother Phil. I'm sure ORD can enlighten us. If, as has been hinted, Cal, Stanford, and UW join the Big Ten, Newsome won't have much to say.

Just for reference, these are the top twenty endowments according to the National Center for Education Statistics. Numbers are in billions for the end of the fiscal year 2020, which may explain why they vary from those posted by cincibuck. Makes me wonder why Harvard even charges tuition anymore.

1. Harvard University 41.9
2. Yale University 31.2
3. The University of Texas 30.5
4. Stanford University 28.9
5. Princeton University 25.9
6. MIT 18.4
7. University of Pennsylvania 14.9
8. Texas A & M 12.7
9. Notre Dame 12.3
10. TSUN 12.3
11. University of California 12.3
12. Columbia University 11.3
13. Emory University 9.17
14. Washington Univ., St Louis 8.49
15. Northwestern University 8.48
16. Duke University 8.47
17. University of Chicago 7.20
18. University of Virginia 7.15
19. Vanderbilt University 6.92
20. Cornell University 6.88
