Oregon left behind  I guess it's plausible for them and Washington to end up in the broken big 12. Not sure on the outlook for Pac 12 football for the future if this officially goes down, but it's grim.

Bring Oregon and Washington to the B1G too... they're both AAU schools. Might as well make it a party

This seems like a very odd to bad fit for every sport outside of football, which I get is the driver in college sports, but still. I guess the schools view the increase in football (and basketball) revenue as enough to offset the travel costs for all the other sports.

It’s really important to recognize how much this fucks Notre Dame

Now is the time for the ACC to say "in or out, motherfucker." They won't though because ND has this ability to do some very strange voodoo ju-ju to conferences. Why the hell we allow them to play in our hockey conference is fucking beyond my comprehension.

It's always about the money unfortunately. College athletics has become commercialized to the point that money aside, it's toxic down to the core which is why I have almost stopped watching.

Though it's odd and the traditionalist in me doesn't like it, sort of makes sense to for the reasons already stated and I love the thought of having USC on our schedule regularly. Will only help us recruit California even better, though we've done pretty well there recently.

Only downside is that Rutgers UCLA rivalry is going to overshadow The Game by 2050.
