My guess is that a top power conference consisting of 10 or 12 teams will be like the NFL with one or two teams having 7 to 10 Wins, two teams with 3 to 4 wins and the rest hovering around 500.

Yeah. I guess I didn't really express my point. So in the NFL, when your team (whoever that may be) gets 11-12 wins, you're usually happy. You made the playoffs and you're having a good season. 11 wins is 0.647 and 12 wins is 0.706. That is the same as an 8 or 8.5-win season in a 12-game schedule. If Ohio State wins 8 or 9 games, none of us are going to be happy. So it's really going to have to be a paradigm shift on our (my) part. Maybe seeing our team at the top of the conference with 9 wins is enough to keep us happy. I don't know - I guess we'll have to wait and see if that's what happens.

I would miss kicking pre-B1G teams in the nuts. I’ve not gone on a good Malort binge since @ORD_Buckeye and I did shots with every score against… who the fuck was that? I was too drunk by half to recall.

Think this is a great move for the B1G. It adds a ton of money, and two schools with big names and great overall academics and athletics programs.
No doubt. But it sucks for the Pac12. They won't find comparable programs, traditions and rivalry to replace them.

Maybe the B1G will stop scheduling OSU vs Nebraska every damn year, and instead schedule OSU v. USC every year.

Did not see this coming at all.

The Pac 12 showed what they thought of football in 2020. Might as well have half the conference that's left join th
If this happens, I can't wait to laugh at Lincoln Riley thinking that he'd be easily able to backdoor his way into the playoffs by winning a weak Pac-12.

Where will Leavin' Lincoln run to next to avoid getting beat down by the Buckeyes?

He'll leave for the NFL in a heartbeat. There were already teams lining up for him. If Kingsbury can get a job after being below average at TTU, than surely Lincoln can land a gig.

Fuck the Pac 12! The teams left can split going to the Mountain West, Big 12 or AAC. I hope Dan Lanning enjoys that Nike money for a few years before he leaves too
