The latest rumor is that unless they change the honor code, BYU doesn't have the votes of the University Presidents, and without BYU, there will be no expansion.
That sounds like Texas fucking shit up through their arrogant assholery and then thinking of excuses for why they can't play with others after the fact.

The more you learn about them, the more you realize how detrimental those douche canoes would be to any conference, regardless of what else they might bring to the table.

Torn on the BYU subject. The university is pretty reprehensible whether you want to talk about gay policy, rape policy or their numerous academic freedom issues. They've actually ousted professors who've refused to tithe to the Mormon Church. That doesn't sound like ND or Georgetown to me. That sounds like fucking Bob Jones or Liberty. FUCK 'EM

However, it's not the PAC or B1G. It's the B12, and academics are hardly the driving force behind that conference, and Baylor has some of the same issues, though much milder. SO LET 'EM IN

I've never seen a football program that constantly year-in-year-out has so many cheap shot artists on it. Nevada RB had his career and possible NFL career ended by these scumbags a few years ago. Coaches come and go, but this is a fundamentally dirty style of football, yet they have a smug sense of moral superiority that would make a pedster blush. FUCK 'EM

However, their getting in means one less spot open to the juggalos. SO LET 'EM IN

Magic Fucking Underwear FUCK 'EM

I think a smug sense of moral superiority is what justifies the cheap shots. They go hand-in-hand. Also, by enabling expansion to move forward, BYU getting an invite would actually open up a spot for Cincinnati in the Big 12. So, no need for you to be torn on the subject of BYU.

Not sure expansion will go forward. Talk around the campfire is that no single school has 6 votes, and it takes 8 to extend the invitation.

My own policy about this BYU issue is if you don't like their code, don't go there. Its like people getting offended over TV programs, change the freaking channel. However, I reserve the right to be a hypocrite regarding this policy when it involves Ped State.
Agreed. On the other side of the coin, if BYU doesn't like the B12 making them change, don't go there. But I assume that after years of oppressive archaic bullshit, they'll be on their knees quicker than a sister wife. For money.
