Iowa State student government passes resolution against BYU joining the Big 12

Another week, another twist in the drama surrounding Big 12 expansion.

The latest move was made Wednesday night on the subject from an unlikely source: Iowa State’s student government, which passed a resolution opposing BYU joining the Big 12 Conference.

“Student Government’s goal is to create a safe and all-inclusive campus where students feel supported to learn, grow and succeed,” the group said in an official statement obtained by the Ames Tribune. “The Senate finds that Brigham Young University’s Honor Code does not communicate nor reflect the values that The Big XII Conference represents. Therefore, the Senate of Student Government does not support BYU’s membership bid to the Big XII at this time.”

Boren today strongly hinted at no B12 expansion. Juggalos are melting the fuck down. If this becomes official, I might have to buy a month's 247 membership just so I can relish each and every one of their tears.

If the Big 12 doesn't expand after all this drawn out drama and crap, they will finally be exposed for the inept frauds that they are. Not that everyone doesn't know that already.
May UT die a slow and painful death, because this is all their doing.
I hate the Big 12, yet we need to get into a P5 again (we were there in the Big East, and I blame Pres Greg Williams for letting that blow up on us, and deciding that we will go down with the the ship).

Lest anyone forget, UC Football won the Big East 4 out of 5 years running at one point. We're the only ones who remember that, it seems

NEVER FORGET

those Big East glory years

Juggalos are too stupid to actually put that into context. A BCS conference in name only that had its three top football programs poached by the ACC and riding two once in a generation coaching hires in a row. Yet the Juggalos are shocked that they've somehow settled back to their historical norm. Here's hoping Tom Hermann goes baboon on these fucks tonight.

And what the hell was Williams supposed to do. They male it sound like all he needed to do was snap his fingers and some P5 spot would open up for them. Whatever Fredo did to us in the 60s and 70s, whatever flagship baiting clown of a President an OU or an Akron might occasionally throw up, it pales in comparison with these Juggalo clowns.

You know what the Big 12 should do to add stability to their conference as they look to expand? Shame potential expansion targets into changing the way they do things.

Will build solidarity. Trust the Big 12, they're really good at this stuff.

That, and ramming your favorite candidates down the throats of your fellow conference members for your own personal reasons. The B1G could really learn a thing or two from the Big 12.
