Didn't see it posted yet: PBC says the Big 10 told Oklahoma "No Thanks":

That thread turned into a UT vs Mizzou [censored]ing match. As boring as it sounds, you still could have no idea just how boring it actually became. Watching paint dry seems like a celebrity death match between Paris Hilton and Perez Hilton by comparison. Tedium raised to the nth degree. Dull, dull, dull.

I'm just saying I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility that the Big Ten would turn down Okie, even if the proposal was Okie and no Okie State. In fact, I think it is more likely than not that the Big Ten wouldn't want Okie.
It was pretty clear he was saying OU is not close to worthy, thus the only possible way they even talk about it is because the mighty 'Horns asked about it.

Your question was asking the complete opposite of what he was saying

Oklahoma's record with respect to NCAA rules would make any school not from Alabama blush.

People seem to be a little mesmerized because they have a strong tradition on the field and they seem to be available, but ask yourselves this: Would you want Alabama in the Big Ten? Would you want Auburn in the Big Ten? That's what you'd be getting with the Sooners. Their profile fits the SEC, but they'd be redundant there. They're going to have to go west like any other Dust Bowl refugee.
