Big 12 CCG: Mizzou 21, Oklahoma 62 (Final)

Where is the law that says in order to have one of these conference "championship" games you must arbitrarily assign teams to divisions?

If they just took the top two teams in the conference OU and Texas would be playing again in this game. Missouri is, at best, number 4.

The same thing happened in the MAC.

If the Big 12 had been able to put Texas and Oklahoma in the CCG, there wouldn't be many legitimate complaints this year about the BCS Title game matchup.

Nothing has shown me that this Oklahoma team will be stopped short of the MNC game. Missouri might be without Chase Coffman today and they have the 110th(?) worst pass defense. Bad news for Mizzou.

The Heisman has to go to Sam Bradford or Colt McCoy. Those two guys are everything to their teams and they've put up massive numbers. If Sam goes off in this game I'd say he wins it over Colt and Graham Harrell. If Florida wins today also Tebow gets 3rd or maybe even sneaks into 2nd on the Heisman list.

What a fucking joke. Why do conferences do this to themselves? Yeah, I know; money.

The joke will really be on Oklahoma if they lose.

Win = NC game
Lose = Cotton Bowl

Yep. But it also would've been put forth as proof the system "works" when in fact they would've simply fallen backasswards into a couple of semi-final games.

Instead, the "system" is giving Missouri a chance to pull a Buffalo and ruin the Sooners' plans. Go Mizzou! :biggrin:
