I'm sorry I am to lazy to look it up but I know, and I'm sure you remember, that dunks were forbidden for a while is the NCAA. I can remember that John Wooten was never a big fan of dunking the ball and he had some guys who could really throw it down or should I say drop it down:)Steve19;1634461; said:If I were a coach I would forbid showboat dunks.

Also, since this is the Big10 thread, props to Purdue for handling #6 West Virginia yesterday. They looked gooood.
Geez, what do you want? A parade? :pBoilers Fan;1633350; said:We forgot to mention Purdue's dismantling of #6 West Virginia yesterday 77-62. But I know you all had a pretty important day yesterday too :)
TSUN maybe. Not so sure about UW but we do get them at home in about two weeks so we shall see. We really need to improve and a lot of areas especially rebounding and getting some points from Dallas and David.buckeyesin07;1637142; said:When Turner suited up last night, there must have been a collective groan from the rest of the Big Ten teams. UM and UW sure did catch a break with being on our schedule while Turner was out.

Back to the Championship game now.

Wow. He was favoring it quite a bit, but still did alright to help the Badgers get the big win at home.
I don't know which one you're referring to. There were two different plays where it appeared his wrist was harmed. A couple minutes in where landed hard and used his hands to brace the fall (I've broken the same wrist on a much lesser drop), which subsequently he emerged from the bench with tape around his wrist. Also, with 2 minutes to play, JaJuan Johnson raked the same wrist, and then it slammed against the bottom corner of the backboard. I think that could have aggravated it from a sprain to a break, possibly.
I don't agree. He was 2-15 during the game, and the Badgers scored 15 less points during the possessions he used then they have averaged on the season. They overcame a huge hit to their typical offensive efficiency. I don't expect that to be the norm though, as there is typically a honeymoon period in sports in the event of a key player's absence.

buckeyesin07;1640918; said:Actually, there may be some truth to that--Purdue shot only 54.2% (13 for 24) from the free throw stripe in a very tight game. Not to mention Hummel going 3 for 13 from the field.
With our recent episode with Turner's back do you have any idea what length of time they might be talking about? I know that we certainly will not miss him next weekend.Bernini;1640844; said:Wisconsin star forward Jon Leuer will be sidelined for an extended period due to his broken wrist requiring surgery.
