Just about any stretch of the grand loop in Yellowstone.
The road up Pike's Peak.

Beautiful on the way from Kona to the Volcano. Very scary when exhausted from hiking around the lava flows all day and driving back halfway around the island after dark. :(

I'll agree with the Oak Creek Canyon drive to Sedona/Flagstaff.

Some other memorable drives are the New Mexico/Colorado border area along I-25 and also Acadia National Park in Maine.

I've driven a brief stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego towards LA, but we will be in San Francisco next month, so I'll get to drive some more of it.

Trail Ridge Road through Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park is pretty amazing. I believe it's the 'highest continuous paved road' in the U.S.

Also, my wife and I took a road trip through New England last autumn and the Kancamagus Highway through New Hampshire when the leaves were changing was amazing!

The Million Dollar highway is pretty amazing. I was on it on a summer trip with my parents in high school. I had my license at the time, but needless to say, my dad never gave me the wheel.

The roads into any western national park are amazing - Zion, Arches, etc.

Driving from LA to Joshua Tree is nice as well.

We did this exact drive this past weekend. It was gorgeous! We stayed in the Green Mountains (in the Mad River Valley in Vermont), and our cottage was right along the river. I finally got a glimpse of why New England fall foliage is so hyped, and the leaves started changing only a few days ago. I highly recommend visiting this area.

Whatever roads you take going from Kennewick, WA, to Seattle. It goes from absolute wastelands to dense forrest and snow capped mountains, then the pacific. Beautiful.

When I was in Tucson, we went out for a drive once, right as the sun was beginning to set, and headed up into the mountains. The cacti, purple sky, with the mountains in the background was amazing.

Up around BYU's football stadium was pretty cool too.

My favorite drive is anywhere in SE Ohio on a cool, crisp October day with the windows down and the radio up. I love that drive.

I was strictly Carl's Jr. out there. They had the "Monster Burger". It was like half a cow with bacon. I really liked the tri-city area. The Columbia river park was pretty sweet too.
