Hmmm.....as a spin-off of the original question....What's the best lunch meat for a sandwich?

Montreal Smoked Corned Beef stacked with Black Forest Ham and a few slices of aged hard Salami. Game over.

Ruben the Great from Jason's Deli is awesome. I also like the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki from Subway. I went to a Mr. Hero in Cleveland once and had a sandwich that I loved, but I can't remember the name of it.

Romanburger? I haven't had one of those since I was a kid. :)

in columbus i like penn station

around here, any deli on any corner will do for me. roast beef on a hero, cold, lettuce, tomato, american cheese and a little mayo.

one thing that bugs me about breakfast sandwiches out here is that they always put ketchup on them. bacon egg and cheese bagel with ketchup? weirdos...

Philly's Best in Licoln Park (a few other locations in the city) makes a damn good cheese steak. They get the ingredients from Philly, and is one of the best I've had.

Philly's Best

if you haven't had it, try the chicken parm sandwich at portillo's down by the rock n roll mcdonalds. its not actually portillos, its the other restaurant inside the portillos (i think its called bordelos). that sandwich is amazing!

Other Columbus favorites:
Original Cheesesteak from Penn Station (Onions, no mushrooms, no mayo, American cheese instead of provolone, trust me)
No way, you gotta get it with everything: onions, the shrooms, the peppers, provolone cheese, with mayo, mustard, AND the pizza sauce. Sounds terrible, mixing the condiments and pizza saunce, but it's delicious.

At that point I don't know how you can even compare it. It's not the same sandwich.
