He needs to be banned from the league. It has to stop. He and pacman need to be thrown out of the league because they have had their opportunities to turn things around and have failed to do so. It is a privilege not a right to play in the NFL. They can make a career for themselves in the CFL or Arena league but these two individuals do not deserve any more chances. If it had been any average joe they would have been fired after the first or second arrest. I realize they get treated differently so whatever but they have had many more chances and have continued to show a lack of respect for their teamates, franchises and the league as a whole. It's simple just get rid of them. :ban:

PHOENIX - The timing of Chris Henry's latest brush with the law could not be worse for the third-year Bengals wide receiver.
Henry, who appeared Monday in Hamilton County Municipal Court following a traffic violation, could be among the first players punished under the NFL's tougher personal conduct policy.
The traffic violation could also cost Henry 88 days in a Kentucky jail for violating probation in Kenton County.

Too much isn't enough for Brown
BY PAUL DAUGHERTY

Here is something you might not have known: It is difficult to be one of 32 monopolists in the most successful, highly profitable league in the history of American sports. It is hard making ends meet in a free stadium that is absolutely filled every time it opens for an NFL game. You think it's easy, scraping by on the proceeds from $8 bottles of beer?
While owners of 30 of the NFL's 32 teams on Monday agreed to share even more money among themselves, Bengals owner Mike Brown voted against it. (The other no vote came from Jacksonville's Wayne Weaver.) It isn't that the Bengals aren't profiting from revenue-sharing; it's that they aren't profiting enough.

BY MARK CURNUTTE | [email protected]

PHOENIX - Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry should know by April 13 whether he will be suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Henry will meet with Goodell Tuesday in New York about his series of off-field transgressions. Disciplinary measures would be announced within 10 days, Goodell said Wednesday at the end of the league's annual meeting.
Goodell also will meet with Tennessee cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, who has had 10 encounters with police since he was drafted in 2005.

It's a good thing the BP has a policy of merging threads on the same topic. Otherwise, we would see 5 different "Bengals' Henry Arrested" threads.

Bottom line: This guy should be in prison. Otherwise, he's going to think he's teflon.

Goodell suspends Pacman, Henry for arrests

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell handed out the first suspensions under his discipline policy, banning Adam "Pacman" Jones for the entire 2007 season and Chris Henry for eight regular-season games.

The two players are suspended without pay for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy and engaging in conduct detrimental to the league on numerous occasions, the NFL announced.

After they serve their suspensions, each player must apply for reinstatement.

"We must protect the integrity of the NFL," Goodell said. "The highest standards of conduct must be met by everyone in the NFL because it is a privilege to represent the NFL, not a right. These players, and all members of our league, have to make the right choices and decisions in their conduct on a consistent basis."
