Bengals at Chargers(-6.5)

I think that both of these teams are very well balanced. I think that overall, Cincy has the advantage due to their defense having a slightly better rush defense. Otherwise, this should make for a good game as long as Palmer plays on Rivers' level.

I wish I shared your optimism towards my Bengals.

I have a funny feeling they're about to get smoked Sunday. They never play well out west. (See Oakland) Watch for Gates to have a Monster day. Hall & Joseph can cover Jackson and Floyd but Gates will roam free down the middle all day long.

The Bengals are just not quite ready to join the top tier of the NFL. Having said that, I can't believe how much better their O-line and defense are this year.

Is Mikey Boy being held hostage in Helmond Province?

They're certainly not ready to join the top echelon. But this season was a good starting point. Both lines are playing at a high level. Making the playoffs was the goal. (Realistically) One more win or Baltimore loss and that goal has been met. Anything they do in the post season is gravy to me.

I would not be surprised to see the Bungles fall flat on their face and not be in the playoffs but this is coming from a Browns fan. If I were a Bungles, I certainly would not be looking forward to your team going to Diego. I do not think your CB's are ready for their WRs or their RBs or ole man Rivesr:)

They need to win 1 game. Or Baltimore loses one game. Cincy has Kansas City and the New York Jets to finish. There is LITERALLY a 1% chance Cincinnati doesn't make the playoffs. So if you want to wager on that 1% chance let me know ...

FYI - Our CB's are ready. Hall and Joseph are the best tandem in the league. That isn't hyperbole. Several national NFL columnist have written about this. The weakness is covering the slot and TE's. But at no point do Jackson or Floyd scare Hall and Joseph. Ask Sidney Rice how good Jonathan Joseph is. He was all over Rice on Sunday.

I hate to say it, but I expect the Chargers to stomp us, after that debacle last week

the one saving grace is that the Chargers run D is pretty bad, but this offense has just been so inconsistent and really pretty bad lately
