even if UT loses to Texas A&M this week, we're not hurt at all.

Not so fast my friend.

If UT loses to A&M (which they won't), it will hurt us a little bit. Since UT beat us, it would reflect unkindly upon us, as one of the teams that beat us was beated by A&M.

It would not necessarily cost UT the Big XII title and automatic bid though, so I understand what you're saying.

Id bet every last v-dollar that USC has their record tarnished at the hands of UCLA.

But i wouldnt hold my breath waiting for all those other teams to lose. We would still need USC to lose twice before we jumped them.

I look forward to seeing you make that bet. I have a hard time seeing USC trip up against one of the worst defenses in all of CFB this close to the end. I can't wait to see Texas whoop on them in the NC game.

well, if you want to wait for usc to lose twice so that we can move ahead of them, you'd probably be waiting until january 2nd or 3rd. usc plays only one more game before a bcs game.

i hope that you lose all of your v-dollars with that bet, wells. if you win, ohio state likely loses (not a game but instead the chance at a bcs game).

I realize USC has only one game left, thats why i think its impossible for OSU to jump USC prior to any bowl game.

I would gladly give up every last v-dollar to see USC and Texas win out, hopefully producing a OSU vs ND fiesta bowl. I could shut up ND fans for an entire year back in Indiana.

If I'm reading this right, Michigan is ranked 17 22 18 9 11 and 16th by the computers.

wtf?

It's confusing, but that's not quite how it goes. A ranking of 25 in a computer poll on the BCS standings is the equivalent to being #1. So it goes in reverse order from there. What is disturbing though is that scUM would be ranked #4 in one of those polls and in the top 10 in two others.

No, BN had it right. Their highest ranking is #9. WTF is right. They do have a tough schedule, and I guess that win over PSU is worth a lot....

After Reggie Bush posted 513 all purpose yards -- WAC opponent or not, I don't care -- I will never, never count out USC as long as Leinart and Bush suit up.

513 all purpose yards for one player actually begins to transcend even PlayStation stats for a non-QB.

I don't see the 22... (ie the #4) ranking... the best I see is the 17 (#9) in the Massey...

Whoa, just a minute there. I played tOSU vs scUM Saturday morning and Teddy Ginn had well over 700 total yards.:p Plus, my defense didn't give up 42. USC is going to get smashed by Texas.
