They're also down to like their 3rd QB, so they aren't even the team that won a lot of those games, or could compete in a marquis Bowl game. Taking Oregon would be a huge mistake.

Listen up, I know my college football more than anyone I know, but I cannot name one damn player that plays for the Ducks right now...

This doesn't speak very well of your knowledge, or that of those you know.

Your lack of familiarity regarding another team is not a valid reason to downgrade the legitamacy of their BCS claim. But the fact that they're behind us in the BCS standings, and neither team has another game to play before the BCS bids are announced, certainly is.

Im just proving a point. My point is that OSU is a better known program. Ohio State, just because of the name, would draw higher TV ratings.

I think the fact that we have lost to two of the top five teams in the BCS should carry a little weight. We rank higher than Notre Dame, and Oregon.......and have played a tougher schedule. We travel well, and have one of the best fan bases when it comes to TV ratings. Sounds like a BCS winner to me.

That's pretty sad considering they have a player who is a Nagurski and Outland finalist

That's because they get no publicity. They have Demetrius Williams(WR, 50+ catches and 1,000+ yards), Terrance Whitehead(RB, 1,100 yard rusher last year without playing a bowl game), Haloti Ngata(DT), Anthony Trucks(SS/LB, 11 sacks), Aaron Gipson(CB, 7 int's), Devan Long(DE, 10+ sacks last year and 4.5 this year but he's been hampered by injuries), and used to have Kellen Clemens who was the 3rd best quarterback in the country before he got injured. They've got some really good receivers from California. They've got some talent and are better than they get credit for.

You want to know the REAL crime here?

Oregon DOES deserve a BCS bowl.. and so does Miami Fl... AND tOSU of course.

ND is ranked 12th by the computers who aren't irish ass sucking media members.
West Virginia is actually ranked 9th,(still not quite good enough to deserve a bid) but I garauntee more people will complain about them getting a bid than ND because everyone buys into the media garbage about the Irish. Watch the computers, they dont lie, and they arent biased.

Wanna see another interesting tidbit from our friends in the media?
PSU 3 in the bcs, 3 in the computers. 4th in both biased polls.
tOSU 6 in the bcs, 5 in the computers. 7th in both biased polls.
Wisconsin 17 in bcs, 13 in the computers. 22/23 in the biased polls.
scUM 22 in the bcs, 17 in the computers. 23/24 in the biased polls.
Northwestern 25 in bcs, 20 in the computers. 32/35 in the biased polls.

Notice the trend yet? EVERY SINGLE BIG10 TEAM IS UNDERRATED BY THE STUPID POLLS.
Want to see some more attrocities?
LSU 4 in the bcs, 8 in the computers. 3rd in both biased polls.
Bama 14 in the bcs, 19 in the computers. 14 in both biased polls.
Georgia 15 in the bcs, 23 in the computers. 12/13 in the biased polls.
Florida NR in the bcs, ?? in the computers. 19th in both biased polls.

Only poor Auburn isnt getting the love from the polls. stupid SEC.

Then outside of FSU and ND there dont seem to be any glaring descepancies.
