USC loses to UCLA thus turning the Rose Bowl into a Texas vs PSU affair, or affectionately to Buckeye fans, the only teams we've lost to.

Now for a "what if" scenario, Hamby catches the TD against Texas, USC still loses to UCLA, and then the Rose Bowl match-up potentially becomes a PSU vs OSU rematch on a neutral field.

True, but if they both lose, then we move up to #4 and get an automatic bid. If they both win their conferences, we still stand the chance of getting screwed by Oregon getting a shot ahead of us.

we'll get it if usc, texas, lsu, and virginia tech lose. that's possible.

Yep, a USC or UT loss would screw us, but I doubt that USC loses to UCLA or that UT loses to Colorado or Missouri in the Big 12 championship. Remember, even if UT loses to Texas A&M this week, we're not hurt at all.

Id bet every last v-dollar that USC has their record tarnished at the hands of UCLA.

But i wouldnt hold my breath waiting for all those other teams to lose. We would still need USC to lose twice before we jumped them.

well, if you want to wait for usc to lose twice so that we can move ahead of them, you'd probably be waiting until january 2nd or 3rd. usc plays only one more game before a bcs game.

i hope that you lose all of your v-dollars with that bet, wells. if you win, ohio state likely loses (not a game but instead the chance at a bcs game).
