Hester gets too low and leads with the helmet. A flying knee to the helmet would be the way to stop him. But seriously, running like that is dangerous to the runner's neck and could result in a very serious injury. I hope the running backs coach isn't putting more importance on getting yards over the player's health.

Good point Pokey, I was only thinking of leverage "lower guy wins"
:oh:

Well now Dorsey has gone and stolen Animal's Nagurski! Congrats to the big man, any chance of a lengthy banquet circuit? :p

Hopefully he was a little happier than when lifting this trophy:

I think Dorsey is awesome, and I fear him above all other Tigers, but I don't think he played enough to merit this. (Not his fault someone chopped him)

What needs to be realized is that the amount of fans for each team will be much more even than those home games where the 120 decibel level has been reached. OSU fans aren't yelling when OSU is on Offense, so that cuts out a lot of the noise. The stadium will not be near as loud as any road game due to the more proportionate fan ratio.

This MORE than deserved this, because he played every game since the chop block. He played the entire rKansas game hurt. I do not like to call football players warriors because we have real soldiers that go to war and die, but he has played 80% of the defensive snaps for the year. He earned it...

Good point Slu, all I know is he'd look good in Scarlet and Grey:biggrin:

SEC vs. Big 10 all time

Does anyone know the all time record for the SEC vs. the Big 10?

Obviously, as everyone who enters this site regularly knows, we (OSU) are 0-8 against the SEC in bowl games - dam* it. The Average score for the SEC 28.375 vs. OSU 14.250.

How did we lose 2 back to back to S. Carolina? Ugh

I want to believe we can beat LSU - I mean if Pitt can beat WVU after getting spanked by S. Florida anything is possible. Perhaps it will even go to a third overtime or more and OSU can complete a trifecta of OT losses for LSU for the season.

Congrats to J.H. (our Defensive Coordinator) for being named the Assistant Coach of the Year - now lets go down there and shut those Tigers down.

In their only other chance, they were dominated in the fourth quarter by Illinois and lost to a team now ranked 13th in every major poll.

I think someone should remind this clown that LSU lost to two teams, one that isn't even ranked and another that is 25th in the BCS rankings...

In the spirit of fairness, I will point out that we played about 8 teams that were ranked during the year and beat 4 teams in the final BCS rankings. That makes for a pretty tough schedule.
