Its in the "BCS facts for your SEC friends" thread but the B10 has a winning record head to head vs the SEC in Bowls since 1998, 13-11.

What kills me is the never mentioned fact that a conference so clearly inferior to the SEC in the eyes of the national media took 2 of 3 from them head to head last year.

With the SEC's clearly superior speed and athletic ability at every position on every team just how in the fuck is any of that possible?

Ive watched both OSU win and lose, as I have with LSU.
Honestly neither Kentucky or Arkansas had a great defense (Arkansas was ok) and yet they managed to beat LSU due to a great QB, and a great RB. Sure LSU shreaded their defense, but when it became a shootout, LSU was not able to come up. Sure the Kentucky game was a result of horrible play call by Les Miles, but against Arkansas, in the second O.T, up seven points they had the game. Fourth and 10ish, and they let a receiver become so wide open right at the marker. That was just a horrible play and Im still wondering how that happened.



If Boeckman shows up, I wonder what a balanced attack with a good QB, and a great RB show up to play with that defense that has been reeling I like OSU's Chances.
I will be one of the Buckeyes in New Orleans, and I hope for a good game and the best of luck to LSU fans. However

GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the year of the upset I question how smart it is to write off any team in any game before its played. A fully healthy scUM offense doing what its capable of, can do damage to UF's defense.

I know I'm in the minority but I think scUM has at least a punchers chance.

Very true.Sorry to say but i'm pulling for UF due to Mr.Manningham picking LSU to win against us.

I also hope that our team can get healthy as well, otherwise we might have difficulty keeping it close.

Ballsy, if you ask me. I kinda see the 'Win one for Lloyd" factor being big, as well as this being Hart's last game, etc... but I just have no confidence that Michigan has squat for Tebow. I suppose it could be an up the field, down the field affair where the last team with the ball wins....

I don't know why anyone would think we are going to win convincingly. If we are going to win then we are going to have to play our best game of the season, catch a few breaks, and then hold on for a 21-17, 28-24 type of victory.

Yeah, tsun didn't win 1 against us so why should they be able to do it against Fla, with all that SEC speed.

That's an excellent point about playing styles. From what I have seen of LSU, they seem to play power football, very much like the Big 10.

Trust me. The Tiger fans and the Tiger players know who we are lining up against Jan 7th. Neither group is taking the Buckeyes lightly.

And you're right. The outcome will be decided on the playing field and not by what fans post on message boards.
