I am new to the forum. Been a Buckeye fan for most of my life. Glad to be a fan of a team that has such a long history of providing it's fans with a quality program and a program that wins as consitently as they do.

  • The only Big Ten team to make it to the BCS championship
  • Been at the BCS three of the last six years.
All I can say is that is hard to be humble when you are a Buckeye.:biggrin:

Well, actually, to correct you a little, it's been 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 that Ohio State has been in the BCS. :wink2: (I know you mean Championship game)

haha I doubt it's a "vacation" but I did read they're taking 2 weeks off which seems unusual. However, they just got done playing last week and need some time to rest and get back healthy. LSU will be ready trust me..

Yes, it's true

But it's also true that national championship teams have done so in the past.

Some haven't.

I seriously doubt it's that big a deal.

Do I hope LSU shows up unprepared? meh, I wouldn't complain


I'd much rather see a great, hard-fought victory over a worth opponent.

The LSU team has two weeks off for rest and finals. They did the same thing last year preparing for the Sugar Bowl. The team really needs to rest and recharge the batteries. The coaches are breaking down film and putting together a game plan. This was all reported on the press box show.

It's written in to the BCS rules that Charlie Weis gets a two week coaching head start. I have no idea why they'd do it this year.
