As expected, a completely classsy post by our "Hostest-With-The Mostest" C-Dog. Clarity always has has the ability to bring "clarity" to a situation that is beyond "fubar."

Crazy night, crazy season, and as always I'm CRAZY about my Buckeyes. This season is over, but what about the next 30 days till signing day? Anybody psyched? I'd like to think so. Thanks to our graduating Seniors for all they've done.

Peace.

And Only 50 Days Till WoodyWorshiper's return.

Well, Ive thrown my hat about 15 times tonight. Im done with that. Ive had 4 beers. Im done with that. I watched stupid penalties all night. Im done with that. Ive hugged my wife numerous times to her consoling words. Im done with that.

I watched my Buckeyes loose another BCS NCG. Im done with that! BRING ON NEXT YEAR!

I had a great season, never expected to play for a NC. Turned out to be an exciting season anyways! I love the Bucks and this wont change my feelings. Im glad we can try again next year.

You guys have a damn strong football team that scared the hell out of us in South LA. It was a hard fought game and the way I look at it, to continue to be in "the game" almost year after year speaks volumes. You guys are classy and I'm glad to have spent some time here.

This game is proof why we need Pryor. I think Boekman is a decent QB but is too easily panicked and makes too many silly mistakes. We need an exciting player in that position to make defenses play two different strategies. Get a push on Todd once in the game and he is flighty the rest of the go.

Guys, stay Classy, please. We went out, we fought, the bottom line, LSU was a better team. We weren't expected to win, but we weren't huge underdogs. Honestly, I think the tapes and talk of last year made the kids over-anxious and thus resulted in a lot of stupid penalties. Boeckman gets rattled, we all know that, and LSU just had more talent at key positions than us. There's no spin on this one, we were prepared, we didn't expect to win, the reality of it all is this: LSU WAS BETTER.

Now, if you sit back, swallow that and take a few deep breaths, you'll realize one thing, this is much easier than last year for one simple reason, the kids tried and did their best.

If we are going to lose to a school in the SEC I can't think of a better one, their fans have been great for the most part, Nutr, I hope you stay here and hang out, I may not like their coach, but I can't think of a city that's more deserving a championship with the recent events. It's a hard pill to swallow, a second loss to an SEC team, but when you think about the city, it's tragedies and the joy that some of them feel tonight, it makes it a little easier.

As I have said, I am proud of the kids. We were supposed to finish third in the Big10, we were supposed to be in a bowl game that was before the first, but we took a team that lost a heisman trophy winning qb and two receivers who were first round draft picks and came right back.

Look, you can choose to be upset, or you can sit back and know that Tressel is always keeping us ready, and we have a bright future. Personally, I am sad about the outcome of tonights game, but like I said, couldn't have happened to a better place.

I can't say I'm not disappointed, but here's a to a great season, making it to the ncg when we were expected to be 3rd in the big 10 at best. Here's to an exciting season next year and a great group coming back for us to get crazy about all over again.

GO BUCKS.

Grad, correct me if I'm wrong here, but this is a classic example of a "tackle eligible" play but with a TE playing the position, aka an eligible player, so he doesn't need to report as eligible. Therefore, as long as he lines up in the proper position and the team has the minimum players on the line of scrimmage, it is legal and he is a eligible reciever by defaut.

Now that I am calm....

I remember a first year starter at quarterback that was once booed out of the Horseshoe after a game vs Indiana. People said he had happy feet and stared down recievers and that he was easily rattled. He lead a 4th quarter game winning drive in the Rose Bowl that is still talked about with reverence and followed that up with one of the best season by a quarterback ever at OSU.

I couldn't agree more. Boekman freaks out way too much. I have as much confidence in him as he looked to have in himself. I can't say this loss is his alone but he sure had his part in it. I hope that next year he steps up a lot or OSU goes in another direction.
