BCS Guru (incorrectly) projected LSU-Oklahoma State in Title Game

Yeah, but Alabama beat...um...Penn State...and, umm...Auburn...and umm...Arkansas....ummm....S-E-C! -S-E-C!

It makes me so sick when someone tries making the argument you just joked about... When SEC blowhards thump their chest and list the SEC teams they beat.. Congrats! How was your OOC schedule? Oh! 2/3 of your OOC opponents were FCS teams? AWESOME!

So why is Ohio State/Big Ten constantly bashed for lack of OOC opponents, yet the SEC can get away with scheduling cupcake after cupcake, because "the SEC is SO brutal."

I don't know how the hell you figured that out in New Orleans 5 years ago but I, along with every other OSU supporter I know, said Michigan had their chance and did not deserve a rematch.

But don't let that stop you from making up facts that fit your premise.
My post was about the Big-10's take, not tOSU take. An all Big-10 event was great for the conference, and I think everyone but tOSU in the Big-10 wanted that rematch, and thought that y'all were the best two teams.

Never said that tOSU fans wanted to play the skunk bears again, I said the Big-10. Again, any discussion about who folks WANT to play does not necessarily correlate to who you thought were the best two teams.

Different question.

the ridiculous thing is that the coaches and pollsters aren't being ripped for ranking Bama above Ok St. I keep hearing all the rage about the BCS, when the humans didn't even want Ok St in the game, based on the way they voted.

dumbass pollsters.

So why is it the SEC benefits both times?

It would be interesting if ESPiN, SI, FOX or someone would run a poll for who people really want to see play LSU. My guess is it wouldn't be Bama. Based on the comments I have seen so far on the ESPiN article on the selection my guess is it would be by a huge margin as well.

Better yet... Why do the 100 other NCAA FBS teams even bother playing their season if they don't have a National Championship to play for? I thought that's why Conference Title Games were brought into play.

Agree. Folks are cussing ESPN and the BCS.

Coaches Poll says rematch.
AP says rematch.
Harris says rematch.

Only the computers saw it the other way.

Is this what you're looking for?

Here is my proposition... You can have your real SEC Championship Game this year... But SEC is eliminated from contention in the national title picture next year. Sounds like a good deal to me.
