I've always been anti-playoff, but this will probably push me over the edge.

Take the top 16 in the BCS (fuck this notion that every mid-major conference gets their champion in), play two rounds at the higher seeded team's stadium and then rotate the semis and finals among the big bowls.

If I'm a MSU player, coach, or fan I'm absolutely pissed that scUM is going to a BCS bowl and they get relegated to the Outback.

..... and I retract this after MSU finishes 17th in the final poll, making them ineligible for the BCS. Only two Big Ten teams in the top 14 = scUM BCS game.

I'm sorry but the standards they hold towards the SEC when dropping teams after losses, and the standards they hold towards other conference teams after losses is night and day. Go back and look at the teams that dropped when they dropped.

Didn't Arkansas stay in the top 10, not only when they got ape raped by Bamer, but after they got ape raped AGAIN by LSU... Yet they're still a top 10 team... Makes sense.
