Probably not since Bama is ahead of oOSU in all the human polls.

If that's the only thing that plays into it, that's an absolute fucking joke. Just further protecting the NCAA's interest in the Southeastern Conference.

There was a column on Yahoo which pointed out that if Mike Slive's plan had gone through a few years back, this wouldn't have happened. Time to bang the drums on plus-one again.

..... and I retract this after MSU finishes 17th in the final poll, making them ineligible for the BCS. Only two Big Ten teams in the top 14 = scUM BCS game.

In this case, I think the polls were wrong for dropping MSU...lost on a questionable call at the end of the game....

So, we have two teams going to BCS games who didn't even play in their conference championship game and one is going to the NCG....that is just mind boggling....

Good possibility. Don't get me wrong. I love the Rose and Fiesta matchup.

Do I think Stanford AND Va Tech deserved to be in the BCS? Maybe Stanford, but no way in hell Va Tech should have even been considered.
