Game Thread BCS Championship Game, tOSU vs. Florida - Jan 8th

There's a thread on the NIU about Jim Delaney (Big Ten Commisioner).

Maybe this will help wake him (and everyone else) up. Essentially, Jim pulls all the strings associated with the BCS, not just the Big Ten.

The Buckeyes look like a team that has been off for 50 days. This is due to stupid Big Ten scheduling (Jim Delaney, are you listening) that always finishes before Thanksgiving coupled with extending the BCS Championship game (yoo hoo Jim) into the second week of January. Way to screw your own conference Delaney!!

It's a shame too. Ohio State was clearly the better team all year and they're getting destroyed. Oh well, it's why they play the game I guess. Major upsets and somewhat undeserving national champions happen in the NCAA basketball tournament all the time but for some reason it just doesn't feel as right in football.
I hate to make excuses, but over 50 days is absolutely unfair....

Too bad that was about the only time he tucked it and went.....he had opportunities to make something happen with his legs.....

He's been pass-first all year and it's been a huge boon for us. Inbetween all the broken-assignments and DL in his face what exactly do you want him to do?
Troy is still a good kid, a good QB, and he's been great for us.
