BCS Bowl Participants for the 2009 postseason

Can't say I think they'll do that well.

MSU has what.. 8 players suspended right now? Depends on how many of their starters are out or will be back.

I don't like Miami vs. Wisconsin. Just have a bad feeling about that one.

I like Minnesota vs. Iowa State.

Don't like NW vs. Auburn.

Don't like LSU vs. Penn State at all.

I like OSU vs. Oregon.

I'm not sure what to think of GT/Iowa. I'll give it a wash.

I think you're selling Wiscy and Iowa short versus the mighty ACC. I'm also not ready to concede PoSU versus LSU.

I can't believe Sparty is even going to a bowl, given the circumstances.

I very well could be. Most of the time I watch OSU and then the marquee games of the weekend. Don't get the chance to watch the others too much.

But based on what I've seen from Iowa this year, they seem to get waaaay too lucky a lot of the time. Can't count on that every week. Georgia Tech can pound it too. It's a good matchup. Strength vs. strength.

I've only seen Wiscy twice this year. Once against us, and against Hawaii. I've seen Miami look very impressive at times.

Penn State just hasn't impressed me much this year.

But, I admittedly haven't watched enough of these teams. Those were just my first reactions.

Tebow! Iowa was ranked higher and beat PeeSU head-to-head. How the hell do they think they had a right to the Orange Bowl. Now let the whole Big Ten office conspiracy b.s. begin.

To be fair a lot of people on their board pointed out the fact that Iowa beat them.....

Boise vs. TCU in the "no one is going to even think about watching this matchup" bowl....

What was the Fiesta Bowl committee thinking? Boise and TCU:

  • Played each other in a bowl game just last year (TCU won)
  • Won't have a chance to take on a BCS auto-bid opponent
  • Won't convince anyone they're as good as a BCS auto-bid opponent with a win because they beat another mid-major
Stupid.

I'll watch and play a drinking game with it. Like, everytime the announcers try and claim either program is relevant to the college football spectrum, you take a drink. I think I will get pretty fucked up by halftime. I don't know, still in the blueprint stages.

I'll probably play a drinking game during the Fiesta Bowl too.

Beer pong.

I'll just check the final score later.

TCU vs Boise State...probably goes on to become the lowest rated BCS game ever? Thoughts?

I don't think it's physiologically possible to put more people to sleep (or make them watch the 24 hour Battlefield Earth marathon) than the Utah/Pitt game did a few years ago.
