BCS Bowl Participants for the 2009 postseason

TCU/BSU is real. HORRIBLE.

Make them play BCS conference teams!

Exactly.

I bet they are both disappointed, too.

I think Boise-Iowa and TCU-Ga Tech would be more compelling.

Looks like we're going to get Iowa-Georgia Tech in the Orange. :sleep1:

Well, there's one bowl I have little interest in watching. I want to know how good these teams are. This is going to tell me which undefeated mid-major is better than the other, which literally tells nothing of any real value.

Oh good, now we're guaranteed to have one of those two teams whining all offseason about how they went undefeated and deserve better and this and that. What idiocy, let them play a BCS conference team.

TCU is legitimate, and deserved to play UF in the Sugar Bowl (and had a good shot to beat them imo). This sucks for TCU, because no matter how bad the beat BSU (and they should win easily with that D) they won't get the respect they deserve. This boils down (imo anyways) to the SEC not wanting to play another mid major and a team that had a very real shot to beat them.

The Fiesta where will be a very bad bowl game.

Fuck the BCS. What a joke. All they just did was guarantee further controversy. Winner of the Fiesta Bowl is going to be undeafted, having beaten a previously undefeated team. That gives them a legit claim at the title, or at least a claim that they should have had a shot at the title.

The BCS is just looking out for itself, trying to prevent more BCS conf. teams losing to non-BCS conf teams, which would be further evidence that the BCS is flawed. Absolute bullshit.

I think what we're seeing is the reality that the BCS is the BCS conferences.

They have no interest in seeing non-BCS schools prove themselves against BCS schools.
