Not enough to make a story like this more than a sidebar link on their site. If this went down at tOSU, ped aggy, U$C, Texas, LSU, bammer, or any other number of "big time" programs, it'd be the lead story on their homepage...not Matthew Berry's (whoever the fuck that is) fantasy football musings like right now. It'd be leading off and dominating SportsCenter and all of their stupid crap-circus poo-flinging side shows. Baylor is a flavor of the month that plays in a cute little <50,000 stadium. By and large, nobody gives a shit about Baylor other than to make "playoff snub" arguments and "sleeper team" picks.

Fuck RGIII for making them relevant enough to get all the good and none of the bad. By proxy, fuck Mack Brown for not recruiting RGIII to play QB for the horns.

But, yeah, it comes as no surprise that Art Briles is a bit of a scumbag...and apparently a bald-faced liar. To find success at remote outpost, shithole programs like Baylor, you pretty much have to cut a few corners.

This is similar to a PSU. Not as bad, of course, but in the same ballpark. Knowing someone is a bad dude, letting him on campus, learning he did something horrible, and not telling a soul that you knew in advance that he was a bad dude. Will Art Briles get fired over this? Maybe. But I guarantee that it will hurt their program going forward in recruiting as long as he is there, and if he thought before "Well sheiiit we gotta go un-duh-feated to make the playoffs." Sir, you may need to go 16-0 in the regular season to get in the playoffs.

12 years ago Baylor had one basketball player murder another, and the head coach of the team framed the deceased as a drug dealer. And that was just the tip of the iceberg of scandal and deceit and drug abuse and payments and academic fraud. In the eight years between that scandal and RGIII winning the Heisman in 2011, the greatest athletic accomplishment at Baylor to register on a national scale was when they found four more years of eligibility for Joakim Noah and stashed him on their women's basketball team.

Fuck Baylor.

Yeah, Waco seems like it sucks. I'm not counting on much from the Southern Baptist leadership since most of them probably think she had it coming for trying to go get some schoolin' instead of marrying and heading into the kitchen.
