Baylor Bears (cluster)

But, yeah, it comes as no surprise that Art Briles is a bit of a scumbag...and apparently a bald-faced liar. To find success at remote outpost, [Mark May]hole programs like Baylor, you pretty much have to cut a few corners.
HA, after reading this I googled bold-faced vs bald-faced lie. Interesting results. Always said bold-faced and thought you wrote that wrong, apparently no one is wrong.

12 years ago Baylor had one basketball player murder another, and the head coach of the team framed the deceased as a drug dealer. And that was just the tip of the iceberg of scandal and deceit and drug abuse and payments and academic fraud. In the eight years between that scandal and RGIII winning the Heisman in 2011, the greatest athletic accomplishment at Baylor to register on a national scale was when they found four more years of eligibility for Joakim Noah and stashed him on their women's basketball team.

Fuck Baylor.
I don't get this at all, i thought Joakim Noah played for Florida.

So kind of like the Penn St. Joe Pa cult without the coaching there for 40 years

I went on their board, and there's a lot of similarities. They are scared to death that if Briles is forced out they'll be relegated back to being Baylor. Unfortunately, I don't think they have anything to worry about. Baylor is such a cesspool that I would venture it's less than 5% chance of Briles being gone.

The aggy though think the pro-UT media in the state won't let this die and that the prize from UT's eyes is not only getting rid of Briles and foosball competition but also getting rid of lawsuit happy Ken Starr and crippling Baylor to the point that they won't be able to put up a fight if UT makes a move out of the B12. I don't know how much stock to put in the theory (it is aggy afterall), but it certainly will be interesting to watch if it starts to play out.

Art Briles will have a job until Ken Starr or Drayton McLane say he can't, and the only family with the clout to order those two around is the Bush family.

Unless someone finds a photo of Ukwuachu in mid thrust with Briles standing in the background giving two thumbs up, nothing will come of this.
