I cashed in a lot of chick flick karma points to get her to rent the Caprica pilot from Netflix and watch it with me. I had high hopes that the more soap opera-ish storylines would get her caught up. No such luck. BSG "The Plan" didn't help much either. She's not a fan and having seen the Caprica pilot and the second episode, I'm not sure it's worth the trouble. I'm going to give it one more go tonight and then possibly blow it out of the DVR airlock.

The Plan was about the equivalent of a mediocre flashback episode. The hook that I used was to start from the very beginning. The mini-series is what got me hooked, and was what I used to get the woman hooked between the end of season two and the start of season three. That's a big time investment though, and since the NextMrs.Rugby has already been tainted by Caprica and The Plan, it might be time to wave the white flag on getting her to like BSG.
