Yikes, this could be a long list.

Alice in Chains (at palooza)
Soundgarden (at palooza)
Pearl Jam X2 (although I agree with what someone said earlier, since Ten, they suck)

Pantera with White Zombie (possibly the best show ever)
Tool
A Perfect Circle
Metallica X5
Megadeth
Van Halen (With Sammy)
Sammy Hagar and DLR (Dave needed to stay home, cause he is too old and sounds like ass)

Kiss X2
NIN X3
Korn X2 (They were awful the first time, but it was when their first one came out, or even right before it came out......were awesome the second time)

Manson (Cant stand him, but I went to see NIN, and he happened to be there

Pink Floyd (Pulse)
AC/DC
Guns N' Roses
Aerosmith

I have to see Slipknot and Stone Sour before I die.........or they die, whichever happens first. I am sure I have seen more, but I cant think of them. Alot of them were at Palooza, which I went to for 3 years straight.

Remembered some more.

Days of the New
Kenny Wayne Shepherd
Rage Against the Machine

Brutus, everytime I read one of your posts I get happy, not sure why. I don't even need to read what you posted and I get happy. Strange.

I must be just a little older than you.
It would be easier to name the places as opposed to the bands.

We used to know the guys that worked security at Blossom Music Center. We could bring cans of beer in our coolers. We used to go almost every night, we got in free alot, and if not tickets used to be $4 for the lawn. I saw James Taylor three nights in a row with three different dates.

Saw BB King open for the Charlie Daniels Band. BB said, I ain't never seen so many cowboy hats in my whole life.

Jimmy Buffet was regular and so were we.

I think the first band I saw was Pink Floyd back in the 70's? at the Rubber Bowl. We lived down the street and knew how to sneak in.

Then there was the world series of rock in the old Cleveland Stadium. I think I saw Aerosmith, J Geils and Bob Seger plus a few other bands there once all in one day. Saw the Stones and a heavy metal extravaganza there also.

In college we used to go to the Cleveland Agora and see small bands that had not made it big yet like Huey Lewis, Blondie and the Michael Stanley Band.

The craziest show I ever saw was the Alex Harvey band. Ain't nothing like a gang bang and dynamo humm, crazy stuff. I saw the Impotent Sea Snakes in hole in wall in NOLA.

Probably the last interesting show I saw was Marcia Ball at a converted church.

This thread has brought a smile to face, thanks.

NSB,

your post is right on, I cannot believe I forgot two of the more memorable shows.

Pink Floyd at the "Shoe"

BB King - at his bar on Beale St. ( just showed up one night and he happened to be there unannounced.)

We knew a guy at Blossom too. Buffet several times.

I worked at both the Ohio Center, and Vets, back in the day and got to see anyone who came there.

Did you see Creed on purpose? Did you actually pay money to see them or were they just involved as an opening act for a real band?
