B1G CCG: Nebraska -2.5 vs Wiscy at Indy (ov/un 48.5) Sat 8:15 Fox

I HAVE to stop and ask the question of whether or not Wiscy was a more talented team then their record let on.

Hear me out here..everyone assumed OSU and PSU would be the teams that were going to be hard to motivate because they didn't have a postseason to play for. They buckled down and put forth great efforts week after week though. Might it rather have been Wisconsin..who basically knew they were going to Indy before the season started that were actually harder to motivate? I mean think about it..you basically know you are going to get your shot as long as you take care of the patsys I mean do you really have the same incentive to focus/. The first time they get put in a big game they have to win they buckle down and annihilate their opponent
I see what you're getting at, but ultimately you are what your record says you are, and the record says they ain't that good.

70 points. 70. You won't see another B1G championship game under Pelini. Hope you enjoyed this one. Of course, judging by the attendance, I doubt anyone noticed.

Knock it off, or you'll be spending the holidays on another board. Capiche?

I'm not saying they deserved to be in the game, obviously they didn't. I'm just saying they may very well have the ability to be a damn good team and they might not go as quietly in the Rose Bowl as people expect...not that I can stand them

What the visiting fans seem to forget is that a Nebraska/Wisconsin/Michigan whateverthefuckitis going on here is basically a cripple fight to us, since we beat ALL of them. So really, enough. Take it to your own boards, we all know who the best team in the conference was this year.

You think you're the best team in the conference? Hell, the Buckeyes could only manage 63 points on the Blackshirts. Wiscy scored 70.

B-U-U-U-U-R-N.

We took our foot off the pedal. Wiscy didn't (because they rememberd the last time you two played)

Yeah...that sounds like a good excuse.

This isn't the SEC, you can't vicariously live through another team in the conference.

Especially when Michigan lost to every team with a pulse, hasn't won the league in a long time and has a coach with no conference titles on his resume.

There is also the matter of their last two meetings with Wisconsin before divisional play allowed them to duck them, the first time so they could back into a bcs bowl.
