B10 title picture not all that unclear

I didn't forget to mention it, I forgot they played, lol.

But yes, the win out part of the equation has to be there, thats a given.

However, if we are indeed 11th now that means we have already jumped Wisky and so a new found spot from say LSU/Bama is a wash. I think 7th or 8th is the best we could do but it really doesn't matter. Anything better than 8 is just gravy, 8 is the magic #.

But if Notre Dame is in the top 12, they get an auto bid, correct? Doesn't that mean that we have to be in the top 7? Or if ND is 12th and we are 8th, do the bowl committees just pick which team would be the largest draw?

I've pretty much resigned myself to believing we're all stuck hoping Sparty can knock off PSU. Wisconsin's defense is really, really bad; their secret has been to "score more" than their opponents on the legs of Calhoun. I've seen enough games this season now to believe that the Badgers have absolutely no shot against PSU since they'll neither run on the PSU D or be much more than a speed bump for the PSU O.

As far as a BCS at-large bid goes, if OSU wins out we're good. Most of the teams ahead of OSU still play each other. There are five games remaining that will deal out five losses to teams ahead of OSU, not counting the loss Georgia has already suffered and any remaining upsets. The closest two loss team to OSU is Notre Dame, whose SOS is about to fall into the toilet with games remaining against Tennessee, Navy, Syracuse, and Stanford. OSU takes a hit with the game against Illinois, but should hold firm with a Top-5 schedule thanks to Northwestern and at Michigan.

Dryden already touched on it but I've been saying for a while its gonna be close for ND to make it to 12.

They aren't going to go much higher in the human polls no matter who gets upset and the computers are just gonna kill them for that remaining schedule.

If they somehow lose to UT this week forget it, they are Jacksonville bound. Personally, I feel that UT has a ton of underachieving talent and nothing to play for but pride and a chance to ruin a season...ND had better watch it.
