Aundrey Walker (Southern Cal Signee)

To give credit where due

Herbie stated yesterday in pre-game.. that USC could be in serious trouble.. without their starting center.. and that hit the nail on the head.. Stanford destroyed that rookie center.. which caused the entire line to falter
I saw that too. No matter how good you are if your line is out of sync you're going to have a bad time. They couldn't run the ball or protect the QB. Stanford is a very good defensive team upfront but USC's offensive line made them look even better.

It takes hard work, commitment and focus to become a successful college football player... much less to make it to the NFL.

On the sunny Pacific beaches with the beautiful SoCal ladies, thousands of miles away from his mentor, friends and family support (mom pending), under the utterly professional and classy tutelage of Lane Kiffin and Ed Orgeron, I wish Aundrey Walker the best of luck.

Have a good vacation... err, college experience.
NFL.com evaluation:
Despite a promising start to his career, Walker has faded into irrelevance over the last two seasons and was a rotational player in 2014. His lack of functional strength and footwork might doom his draft chances, but his size and history at both guard and tackle should get him into a camp.
Needless to say, Aundrey was not selected in the 2015 NFL draft.

Lot of talk in this thread back when he committed that he'd regret choosing USC/Kiffin over tOSU. Well, after a nondescript 4 years at USC that saw them go 36-16, play in 3 crap bowls (Sun, Las Vegas, Holiday), and having to watch tOSU win 38 games the last 3 years culminating in an epic post season run to the NC this season, as well as seeing the job that Ed Warriner has done with these OLs, you gotta think there might be a pang of regret there.

Could be. I wonder if kids think about that stuff often or not. Guess it probably depends upon the kid and his mentality.

Very true, there's always the song girls...

I was going to make a quip about going to the Rose Bowl and partying with SoCal chicks anyway... but Ohio State has been too successful in the 21st century to see the Rose Bowl much. Usually if we're good enough to go, we end up wherever the NCG is instead.
