The Iron Bowl. Fortunately for Nick Saban, he doesn't need any style points.

The team that's lost 6 straight is a heavy favorite? Haven't seen that since TSUN-PSU.

Watching JPW throw makes me remember why I was so happy whenever Krenzel ran it...

All he did was go 25-2 his junior/senior years, with 2 BCS bowl wins and a NC. I'm sorry he left.

Jeez, calm down. Krenzel is my favorite, but he wasn't the greatest passer, and was at his best running the ball. Obviously he could be counted upon in clutch situations with his arm.

This Alabama team is very similar to the 2002 tOSU squad IMO and it just made me think back...

Worth noting - Mark Ingram, the featured RB on that drive (and TD scorer) kept his recruitment open till at least the third week of January.

He was a 3*, but has the profile of a back that RR should like and entice.

No offer from, no visit to TSUN - now starring for the Tide - and Saban holds him to be the most talented running back. There's a story there about a Head Coach and his ability to assess talent, a story that leaves one of those coaches in a good light.

Anyone who thinks that we are gonna roll Bama is hitting the crack pipe.

They are a well coached, well rounded team. They have big, physical linemen on both sides of the ball, which is a big worry to me. They have a punishing big back, and they are capable of keeping our playmakers off the field for extended periods. With Percy unlikely to play, a big task gets bigger.

If we beat them, I think we will be deserving of a bid to play in Miami.

I vote for Texas over the Okies, as the head to head on the two best teams is my tie breaker.

Nice to see a Gator fan not falling for the media's "Florida will roll" mantra.

I think Florida will beat them, but I agree I don't think you will roll them with ease. You can't get through the SEC undefeated unless you are a good team. Alabama doing that is certainly impressive. Looking forward to a good football game. Whichever SEC team wins I will be pulling for over whichever Big 12 team gets in.
